Insurance Ireland and Milliman look forward to welcoming you to our first CRO forum of 2024.

We are pleased to announce that Andrew Candland, Head of Financial Risk and Governance Policy, Central Bank of Ireland will join us on Thursday, 11th of April to give us some insight into the Central Bank of Ireland's regulatory priorities in the areas of big data, technology, digitilisation and the use of AI. Andrew will provide some thoughts on this following the publication of the Data Ethics Within Insurance report in August last year.  We will also be joined by Gary Leyden, CEO of InsTech.ie, to discuss some of the opportunities for insurers in this space. Sinead Clarke, Principal, Milliman will chair the event.

The event will include discussion points from both Andrew and Gary and break-out sessions, to discuss the risks and opportunities in this area with industry colleagues.

It aims to build the innovation talent and capability of insureres, support the growth of our indigenous insturtechs and attract significan international investment from those establishing an innovation presence in Europe through Ireland.
