Please find below details of a new series we are introducing to the calendar of membership engagements as part of Ann Kelleher’s Presidency of Insurance Ireland.
We are certain this will prove popular and will become an annual gathering as Insurance Ireland deepens its engagement with middle and high potential managers
“How Did I Get Here?” is the inaugural event of the new annual President’s Series, and will share the stories of CEOs and Senior Executives from across the industry, to illustrate the variety of career journeys to the top of our industry.
This is the second in a series of events designed in conjunction with Deloitte. This event wil be held under the auspices of our Diversity & Inclusion thematic as part of the II-Deloitte Talent Strategic Alliance Partnership
The event MC will be Valarie Daunt, Human Capital Partner Deloitte
Our panel of executives will each give a "Potted Career Path” – outlining their individual routes to career success and highlighting challenges and opportunities along the way – illustrating the reality that all career paths are not linear or the same.
Our panel will feature David Harney, CEO Irish Life Group and Ann Kelleher Chief Executive Officer at Ark Life Assurance and Insurance Ireland President. The full line up will be announced in the coming weeks.
Each of the panel members will then individually join one of the delegate tables to answer questions, and to discuss and debate career progression
Delegates will be given the biographies of the panellists in advance of the event and are encouraged to consider their questions for this interactive element of the meet up prior to attendance.
Each panellist will rotate around the delegate tables for a fixed period of time ensuring all delegates have the opportunity to interact with the full panel.
This event is designed for middle to senior management potentially at an inflection point in their careers with respect to their ambitions for progression. Up-and coming executives that exhibit potential to grow and develop within the organisation.
