The Council is currently chaired by  Brendan McCarthy.

The Group looks at the specific issues facing INEDS as they carry out their role on insurance boards, such as how to influence the executive team while remaining independent and understanding the impact of the messages from Regulators and the EU.

The Group seeks to promote industry best practice for insurance Boards as well as supporting the Insurance Ireland team in understanding the various issues facing the industry at Board level.
